For more than 125 years, Provena Health ministries have existed for the sole purpose of caring for all those we are privileged to serve, with special attention to the poor and vulnerable. It's a commitment that's at the core of our Mission: to build communities of healing and hope by compassionately responding to human need in the spirit of Jesus Christ.
As a Catholic healthcare provider, we strive to create a healthcare system that is available and accessible to everyone; health and prevention-oriented; fairly financed; transparent and consensus-driven; safe, effective and patient-centered; and designed to address health needs at all stages of life, from conception to natural death.
In 2010, the overall financial impact of Provena Health's community benefit contributions totaled
more than $186 million! Taken as a whole, Provena's contributions, on average,
represented more than $511,000 in charitable benefit each and every day during 2010.
