Integrating medical science with compassionate, attentive care, midwives are skilled providers who work collaboratively with physicians and have a philosophy that focuses on the specific needs of women. They offer guidance to women through constant communication and education, empowering each woman to make her own decisions about what works best for her.
Provena Medical Group - Women First Midwifery provides comprehensive OB/GYN care to women of all ages including annual exams, prenatal care, personalized care during labor and delivery and menopause management. Our dedicated midwives will provide you with high quality care and support, respecting each woman's individual needs.

Deborah Riddell, APN, CNM, MS
Deborah Riddell's live long dream come true has been to serve women as a Certified Nurse Midwife. She pioneered the concept of midwifery in the Aurora and Fox Valley area, working to give women the same personalized attention and alternative choices of women choosing home or birth center deliveries, and has worked alongside various prominent board certified obstetricians, gynecologists, perinatologists and neonatologists in the area.
