Provena Saint Joseph Hospital Opens The Healing Gallery

Over 100 community members and Hospital staff attended the ribbon cutting opening The Healing Gallery at Provena Saint Joseph Hospital.
The Healing Gallery is a rotating gallery that will exhibit works of art from local artists. The art may be purchased with a portion of the profits benefitting the Hospital. Local artist and Provena Saint Joseph Hospital volunteer, Lillian Pagni will serve as the Gallery’s curator.
On hand to cut the ribbon were Pat and Don Torisky, who generously provided the Gallery’s lighting, as well as Sister June Does, Lillian Pagni, and Bill Brown President & CEO of Provena Saint Joseph Hospital. (story continues below)
“As a faith-based Ministry, Provena Saint Joseph Hospital embraces healing elements that compliment the clinical care we provide,” Bill Brown said. “We know such elements make a difference to our patients, guests, employees, physicians and volunteers and are unique aspects that make our Ministry an extraordinary place of healing.”
The Healing Gallery’s premier exhibit comes from members of the Yellow House Artists, Eileen Bosic, Lillian Pagni and Carol Zach.
“The Healing Gallery also demonstrates our commitment to our community as every quarter the gallery will exhibit new artwork from our area’s artists and we can look forward to seeing diverse talents on display, “ Brown added.
