Provena and Vermilion Advantage Pair Up to Host Dialogue on Health Care Reform
10/08/2007
Danville, IL, October 8, 2007 — 1.6 million people in Illinois are without
health insurance. People who have health insurance are paying more. Some people
are forced to choose between paying for medication and buying food. Still others
delay visits to doctors because they can’t afford them. Health care costs and
access to services are a growing concern for more and more people each year and
two local organizations are interested in getting people talking about
solutions.
Provena United Samaritans and Vermilion Advantage are hosting a day-long
dialogue on health care reform on October 19, 2007 at the Danville Days Inn.
This is an event that will encourage Vermilion County residents to look at how
health care works today and at some possible ways to make it better in the
future.
The event is put together in a way that invites you to share your thinking
and to listen to the ideas of others. Pre-registration for this event is
required. To learn more or to be a part of this exciting day, please contact
