Meet our new Vascular Surgeons
Vascular disease impacts roughly 8 million people in the United States. Presence Health hospitals in the area – Presence Covenant Medical Center in Urbana, Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville and Iroquois Memorial Hospital, an independent partner of Presence Health, in Watseka – are happy to welcome new vascular providers to the medical staff to meet a real need in East Central Illinois. These providers will provide vascular care to the residents of Champaign-Urbana, Danville, Watseka and surrounding communities.
Learn more about vascular disease from these new surgeons at one of our upcoming free events. There will be the chance to get free and discounted screenings and enjoy great refreshments, plus hear presentations and ask questions on vascular disease. Presenters will include the new Christie Clinic vascular surgeons, Dr. Jennifer Ash, Dr. Syed Hussain and Dr. Ravi Hasanadka. The event dates are as follows:
- Tuesday, March 11 at Presence Covenant Medical Center in Urbana; doors open at 5:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, March 26 at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville; doors open at 5:00 p.m.
Symptoms of vascular disease include leg pain, varicose veins, changes in skin color, slow healing sores and tingling in your legs or feet. It’s important to learn about how you can prevent and treat vascular disease, plus to have regular screenings.
Both upcoming events are free to attend and registration is required. Call 1.877.737.INFO (4636) to sign up today.
