What is National Nutrition Month (NNM)? NNM, in March each year, is a month long observance of providing sound nutrition education to the public in relation to eating healthy and being physically active. NNM was originally created in March 1973 as a national nutrition week by the American Dietetic Association, in 1980 NNM expanded to a full month due to public's interest in being healthy.
