Short-Term Respite Care allows caregivers temporary or occasional time off to help them regain emotional strength or handle personal business. In addition, patients who may benefit from 24-hour nursing care, nutritious meals prepared three times a day and more, can receive high-quality care after an illness.
Skilled Nursing & Intermediate Care services are available for long-term residents who need assistance with the activities of daily living. Our nursing staff is available 24 hours a day, and we have different levels of nursing care to best meet your needs.
Provena Villa Franciscan provides a comforting, secured environment of care for community members struggling with Alzheimer's Disease or other memory impairments. Our unit is certified by the Illinois Department of Public Health to care for our residents with Alzheimer's Disease to ensure that your loved ones receive the highest quality care in a safe environment. Offering a personalized approach, we begin by learning our residents' stories and then tailor activity programs that encourage residents to be successful in a safe and comforting environment.
Supportive Services
Pastoral Care ensures that we are meeting the spiritual and emotional needs of our patients and residents, as well as their families. We offer an on-site chapel that holds regularly scheduled Catholic and non-denominational faith services.
Social Services serves as a liaison between our patients, residents, families and outside resources, advocating on your behalf during the development of individualized care and discharge plans. Our team works for smooth and comfortable transitions for those we serve.
Hospice or comfort care is available, in keeping with our mission of compassionately responding to human need in the spirit of Jesus Christ. We will work with each resident, patient, family member and physician requesting hospice services. Our nursing and pastoral care staff will work alongside your hospice provider of choice to ensure a comfortable, compassionate and dignified transition to end-of-life care.
