Siena on Brendenwood, a Rockford retirement community, recently received a prestigious MOMBA award for Best Event Marketing.
Hosted by RetirementHomes.com, the MOMBA awards recognize the best marketing achievements in senior living communities around the world. Siena won Best Event Marketing in North America for its “An Evening with Clutch Cargo” event and fundraiser. There were over 200 entries for the MOMBA awards in total and 15 entries in the Best Event Marketing category. After a panel of marketing experts selected the top 5, the public then voted to select the winner.
“This is an honor for our community and for Rockford,” said Kathy Russell, Executive Director, Siena on Brendenwood. “We are thankful to Rick Wells LTD, the advertising firm that created the television commercial, invitations, posters and other collateral that launched the event campaign that won this international award.”
“An Evening with Clutch Cargo - A Party with a Purpose” is an annual fundraiser dedicated to raising awareness for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk and benefitting the residents at Siena on Brendenwood. In addition to music and dancing, the event includes a moving tribute to those affected by the diagnosis of breast cancer.
