Why should I give and how does my donation benefit Provena?

Your gifts to Provena Life Connections  ministries, through its Annual Giving Program and other avenues of giving, are tax deductible.

Individuals have very different reasons for donating to Provena Life Connections ministries.  For some, its the personal satisfaction of helping further Provena Life Connections Mission of building communities of healing and hope.  Gifts to Provena Life Connections provide our patients and residents the latest equipment and supplies, provide ongoing education to the staff in the way of scholarships and provide for quality senior healthcare programs and services.  For others, gifts to the Provena Life Connections ministries can be an opportunity for grateful patients, residents, and their families to thank the our ministries and its staff for the outstanding service and care received.

The Provena Life Connections Development Department is dedicated to recognizing each donor for their generous gift.  Each donor can expect the highest standard from us.  The Donor Bill of Rights , a nationally recognized statement, outlines what our responsibilities are to you, the donor.


What kind of donations are accepted?

There are many that donate to Provena Life Connections Ministries.  To learn more about the many donor opportunities, read our section on 
Ways of Giving.  Provena Life Connections Development Department is currently in the middle of the 2006 - 2007 Annual Appeal.  All gifts given to the Annual Appeal will be directed to the unrestricted fund, benefiting the priority needs of our ministries.  Funds that are designated unrestricted allow for Provena Life Connections to purchase necessary equipment and supplies to benefit our residents and patients.


What will my donations be used for?

In addition to unrestricted donations through the Annual Appeal, gifts can be restricted to a designated need specific to the interest of the donor.  Such gifts can benefit individual departments, specific programs or the capital needs of Provena Life Connections ministries.
