The Cardiac Catheterization Lab at PSJH is a rapidly growing service.
These services include cardiac and peripheral services.
Cardiac Services:
- Diagnostic heart catheterization
- Cardiac Intervention which includes Coronary Angioplasty, Coronary Stent Placement,and Angiojet Clot Extraction
- Intravasular Ultrasound
- Cardiac Thrombolysis
- Intraortic Balloon Pump Assist Device
Peripheral Services:
- Carotid Angiogram including Carotid Stent Placement

- Placement of Temporary and Permanent Dialysis Catheters
- Placement of Mediport Catheters for Chemotherapy
- Embolization of venous and arterial bleeds
- Peripheral Vascular Angiography of lower extremities with Angioplasty and Stent placement
- Peripheral Thrombolysis of lower extremities
- Renal Artery Angiogram with Angioplasty and Stent placement
- Laser ablation of Varicose veins
- Peripheral Services: a) Abdominal Aorta Stenting b) Laser Ablations of Total Occlusions – Limb Salvage
Hours are Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Emergency procedures are available 24/7.
