Family Involvement Every Step of the Way.
We know how comforting the presence of family can be to the recovering patient. That's why we invite family members and significant others to stay with patients as much as possible. Family and friends can assist our care team in keeping their loved one safe by:

- Scheduling family and friends to stay with him or her.

| - Gently reminding the patient about where he or she is, the date, the time and who is with them. |
| - Conveying a sense of calm and confidence. |
| - Helping the patient to remember questions they are asked and hospital routine. |
