Presence Villa Franciscan, a long term care facility is conveniently located on the medical center campus with immediate access to the world-class services of a major medical center. Villa Franciscan creates a stimulating environment to care for those in need of "a little help" due to illness or disability. It has been sponsored by the order of the Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart since 1981.
Due to it's close proximity and relationship with the medical center both therapy services departments work closely together to place patients in the medical center or at Villa Franciscan depending on their specific rehabilitation needs.
It's also reassuring to know that many of the attending physicians on staff at Villa Franciscan are also on staff at the Medical Center in case a transfer is needed.
