Advanced Level II Special Care Nursery with Extended Capabilites in Joliet
Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center is designated by the State of Illinois as a Level II Special Care with extended capabilities for Neonatal and Perinatal services. This means the Family Birthing Suites and the Special Care staff have the clinical expertise and equipment to care for mothers with high-risk pregnancies, premature infants that are as young as 28 weeks gestation, and infants with certain illnesses. Now moms-to-be have the reassurance of quality care close to home.
With a perinatologist treating Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center's high risk moms-to-be, the maternal-fetal medicine program is continually enhancing to provide the highest standard of care for our patients.
