Our commitment to cancer begins even before diagnosis and treatment. In fact, our goal is to educate the community on prevention measures, early detection screenings and cancer warning signs in an effort to help detect cancer in the early, most curable stages. Throughout the year, look for information on our free prostate, colorectal and skin cancer screenings.
PSJMC now has FISH (Fluorescent In Situ Hybridization) and ISH (In Situ Hybridization) analysis as part of its expanding menu of diagnostic capabilities.
The technology will allow pathologists to accurately sub-classify leukemias and lymphomas using current molecular techniques.
These classifications will allow oncologists to provide directed therapies and improve outcomes.
PSJMC has coupled this testing with an imaging solution that will allow pathologists throughout our systems to review and provide professional interpretation onsite at each of our hospital sites.
