develops treatment plans entirely unique to each individual based on the size
and location of the tumor, patient's medical history and lifestyle. This is done
using highly sophisticated cancer treatment planning technology. Using
data from a CT simulator and other imaging studies, our team uses a planning
system that creates a computerized
3-dimensional image based on the shape of the patient, size and location of the
tumor, and nearby critical organs. The radiation oncologist and medical
physicist can then clearly visualize the tumor and develop the best possible
treatment plan.
