Lisa M. Lagger
Chief Relationship Officer
Lisa Lagger is Chief Relationship Officer for Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. Lagger was appointed to her role in January 2012, following service to the newly merged Provena Health – Resurrection Health Care system where she led Corporate Communications initiatives. She had previously served as Vice President, Public Relations and Marketing, for Provena Health prior to the merger.
As CRO, Lagger works to create a unified strategic approach to building enduring positive relationships with key stakeholders, including our employees, physicians, patients and family members, vendors, and community members. She will have leadership oversight for Marketing, Public Relations, Foundation, Mission Services and Human Resources, developing initiatives which advance the Medical Center’s Catholic identity, image and reputation as the leading provider of quality care and service across the region. A direct report to the Chief Executive Officer, Lagger will serve as a member of Provena Saint Joseph Executive Leadership Team.
An award-winning leader with more than 20 years experience, Lisa brings a creative spark and high energy to her role.
She served as Public Relations & Marketing Director at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center, Joliet, for nine years before joining the Corporate Office in 2005. Prior to that, she worked as International Public Relations Manager for Chicago-based Leo Burnett Company, Inc., one of the nation’s largest advertising agencies, overseeing public relations activities for Burnett’s vast Europe/Middle East/Africa and Asia-Pacific regions. She also served as a senior editor for Marshall Field, and Co., Chicago. Lisa began her career as a public relations specialist at St. James Hospital and Health Centers in south suburban Chicago Heights.
