Terrence Wright Vice President,
Facilities Planning and Management
Terrence Wright has joined the organization in 2005 as Vice President of
Facilities Planning and Management. In his role with the Medical Center,
Wright oversees Plant Services, Real Estate and Construction. He has over
20 years experience in the position, having managed daily operations of various
health care environments throughout the country, and he has coordinated numerous
design and construction projects.
Mr. Wright came to Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center from the Advocate
Health system, where he served as Corporate Director, Design and
Construction. There, he supervised Advocate facilities in its southern
region, developing capital plans and implementing quality standards.
Previous to joining Advocate, Wright spent 10 years in a variety of engineering
and facilities management roles with Veterans Administration hospitals in the
Chicago area. He also served in a number of engineering capacities with
the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Wright earned a bachelor of science
degree in mechanical engineering from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque,
and has an MBA from Webster University in St. Louis.
Wright also holds a number of certifications and designations in Emergency
Preparedness, Real Property Administration, Facility Management Administration,
and is a Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP).
