Touching the Lives of Others At Provena St. Mary's, the Auxiliary & Volunteer Services programs are an essential parts of our operations. The combined efforts of Auxiliary members and volunteers have strengthened the Hospital's mission of Bringing Healing and Hope to our Community. The Auxiliary owns and operates The Gathering Grounds Coffee Shop and Hospital Gift Shop located in the lobby of Provena St. Mary's Hospital. They also have a second location at the Bourbonnais Campus on Rt. 45. The Auxiliary has a 2nds To Go Resale Shop in the Meadowview Shopping Center in Kankakee. Proceeds from these businesses help provide assistance to our community as well as to the Hospital. This group has been recognized for Two National Award winning projects. The Caring Tree Project assists the less fortunate in our community. Putting It Together Teen Style Show is a program developed for students to gain skills on learning to produce and host a large fundraising event. This program is a mentoring program with adult professionals in our communities. When you give the gift of yourself at Provena St. Mary's, your efforts create a ripple effect-feeling the inner satisfaction that comes from helping others, seeing life-saving technology in action, and getting involved with community events. As a volunteer, you join hundreds of others who have made a commitment to assist in providing quality healthcare services to our community.
